I provided design services to HDMA via the New Model Equipment Group in the Marysville Auto Plant Weld Department. I design, implement, and maintain automotive assembly equipment, as well as manage department projects. Works also include 3D modeling and drawing check via CATIA/DELMIA, as well as design analysis/review and business planning. This position has helped me to grow the most in skills such as project leadership, internal networking, and collaboration between departments.
I provided design engineering services to Hokuto USA, during which I designed, tested, and reviewed turnkey automation cells destined for the white body programs of various North American auto manufacturers. This position taught me a great deal about automation as well as project management, customer interaction on a corporate level, and what the expectations are when working for an international engineering firm. Additionally, I became an SME for Autodesk Inventor and learned CATIA/DELMIA while in this position.
