Worked as an Intern and then stayed part-time for McGill's Utilities and Energy Management Office - Produced two energy audits for the past five years for McGill Residences and the Athletics department which includes detail consumption breakdown and benchmarking comparisons - Worked in conjunction with Special Events to cater to the energy needs of multiple events on campus - Replaced multiple energy meters across campus: worked on identifying which counters needed to be replaced, prepared technical documents, oversaw the bidding process and chose which firms would work on the meters. - Communicated with multiple offices throughout McGill to ensure the proper understanding of UEM's impact on campus
Student start-up, raised $17 000 from McGill Simvo is a college degree planning platform that provides a user-friendly interface for a long-term academic roadmap. It displays which classes at McGill and other universities students in any faculty need to take at any given time in order to complete their degrees. Over the summer of 2016, we have raised $17 000 with the McGill Administration. I was in charge of the frontend, using PHP and testing it in its alpha version as well as managing launch for January 2017. By April 2017 we had over 550 users, out of the 3000 undergraduate engineering students at McGill University.
