Crédit industriel et commercial (CIC) is a French banking network created in 1859 and divided into six regional banks in France and one in Luxembourg. In 2021, CIC had 1,837 branches spread across the country and employed more than 20,000 people (full-time equivalent). The total number of its customers is approximately 5.2 million, including nearly 4.2 million individuals, 134,281 associations and 946,506 professionals and companies according to the latest figures visible on the bank's website. In 1998, the purchase of 68% of its capital by Banque fédérative Crédit mutuel (BFCM) for €2.04 billion gave birth to the Crédit mutuel-CIC group (CM-CIC). This stake led to CIC's withdrawal from the Paris Stock Exchange in August 2017, with BFCM managing to obtain more than 99% of CIC's shares (following a public takeover bid valuing CIC at just under €15 billion). CIC is also the oldest French deposit bank.

I joined Team for the Planet as an investor 🌍 TFTP, created in April 2019, is a holding company investing in the fight against climate change in France and abroad, and operating under the Team for the Planet brand. A mission-driven company, it defines itself as a citizen movement. Converted into a limited partnership with shares, it claims to be non-profit for its shareholders, who will not be able to share any profits generated before temperatures return to those of the pre-industrial era. Its investments focus on companies or business projects likely to be profitable without taking out a patent. Calls for funds from citizens and companies have been very successful, reaching more than 15 million at the beginning of 2023, with a stated objective of reaching one billion euros in 2030.
