About

As a student in the Engineering Program at Boise State University, I am working toward my Mechanical Engineering degree, with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. My goal is to combine my drive to understand how things work with my passion in biomechanics and the automotive industry. To continue building on my education, I am seeking an internship for the Summer of 2026 that will allow me to apply what I am learning while contributing to a team of driven professionals.

Experience

  • Junior Design Project at Boise State University
    Aug 2025 - Dec 2025 · 5 mos

    • Designed a compact, collapsable, and portable device capable of lifting a small, heavy cylinder and transporting it. • Fabricated the lift using machine shop tools (Vertical Bandsaw, Drill Press, Plasma Cutter, MIG Welder, Angle Grinder, Hand Tools). • Produced a written report detailing the design, its purpose, and its cost to manufacture. • Collaborated with a team of four.

  • Plastic Fabricator at JST
    May 2025 - Aug 2025 · 4 mos

    • Read and interpreted engineering drawings • Fabricated and welded plastics • Deburred plastics

  • Boise State University (Boise, Idaho, United States · On-site)
    • Class Project - STEM Outreach: Translating Biomechanics to a Young Audience
      Jan 2025 - May 2025 · 5 mos

      • Developed and delivered a 15-minute interactive workshop on biomechanics concepts for elementary school students • Collaborated with an elementary school teacher to tailor the workshop content and activity to their curriculum and classroom needs • Practiced and received feedback from peers to ensure clear communication and engaging delivery of biomechanics principles • Reflected on the service-learning experience through written reports, assessing its effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement • Enhanced communication skills by translating complex biomechanics concepts for a younger audience

    • Sophomore Design Project
      Aug 2024 - Dec 2024 · 5 mos

      • Designed parts, assemblies, and technical drawings for a 2-foot long, collapsible bridge using SolidWorks • Fabricated the bridge using machine shop tools (Plasma Cutter, Brake, Vertical Bandsaw, Drill Press, MIG Welder, Angle Grinder, Sand Blaster) • Collaborated with a team of three to design and construct a second bridge

  • Freshman Graphical Design Project at Boise State University
    Aug 2023 - Dec 2023 · 5 mos

    • Designed LEGO bricks in SolidWorks • Created a LEGO helicopter assembly using LEGO brick parts • Created unique drawings for the helicopter and all parts
