Primary Practice: Civil Litigation 1. Adjudication - Helped reduced the amount to be paid by an interior design company for an adjudication claim filed against them. - Advised a construction company in defending an application to set aside an Adjudication Award 2. Defamation - Advising and preparing claims for defamation against individuals. 3. Corporate / Shareholders disputes and Restructuring - Drafted and assisting in 2 winding up petitions on the grounds that it is "Just and Equitable" for the Companies to be wound up - Successfully obtained a judicial management order for a developer client - Carried out pre-trial preparation for a shareholders dispute in the High Court of Malaya. - Drafted witness statements pertaining to shareholders disputes. 4. Employment & Industrial Relations - Advising a claimant who was dismissed from the company due on the grounds of retrenchment. - Advising and representing a society whose employees filed unfair dismissal claims when the society was de-registered. 5. Landlord & Tenant - Obtained settlement for a landlord against 2 tenants who defaulted in their monthly rentals - Applied and obtained orders for execution of judgment against tenants who defaulted in monthly rentals 6. Other litigation matters - Assist companies in obtaining payments for goods sold and delivered - Assist and advising Joint Management Bodies or Management Corporations pertaining to the Strata Management Act - Advising a client on injury suffered while on board an air flight - Advising clients and making applications for execution of Court Judgments against debtors such as Garnishee Proceedings and Bankruptcy - Negotiate settlement between a house owner and a JMB on outstanding maintenance fees - Apply for grant of probate and administration for clients

Drafting - Draft pleadings, cause papers and written submissions for Court matters, letters of demand, and tenancy agreements. Legal Research - Conduct legal research in order to advise clients on their rights and/or causes of action under the law. - Conduct legal research to prepare written submissions for court matters. Legal Advice - Provide legal advice to clients pertaining to court procedures and civil law. - Vet and review documents given by clients in order to provide them with accurate legal advice. Litigation - Appeared in the Federal Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, Sessions Court and the Magistrate Court. - Assisting in an arbitration due to a dispute under the PAM Contract 2006. - Assisted in defending a CIPAA claim against a property developer. - Appeared in mediation conducted by Judges and the Mediation Centre.
