Experience

  • Founder at TRICITY LABS
    Mar 2026 - Present · 5 mos

Today CryptoTricity becomes Tricity Labs. The mission hasn't changed — the name now matches it. We build compliance and tenant-welfare infrastructure for social housing: smart-meter data that produces automated bill credits for tenants, emergency credit for prepayment households, and the audit-ready evidence landlords need for MEES and Warm Homes Fund applications. Why the change? As we move into pilots with housing associations, we wanted a name that speaks plainly to the people we serve — landlords protecting tenants from cold homes and the 2030 EPC deadline. Same team. Same regulated infrastructure. Same Innovate NI and Enterprise Ireland credentials. Sharper focus. We're inviting one housing association to co-deliver our first pilot this year. If that's you, let's talk. #SocialHousing #MEES #FuelPoverty #PropTech

Caring responsibilities for my mother who subsequently passed away with COPD. This had a negative impact on my own mental health with subsequent difficulties with my employer BT. I used this time from paid employment to rehabilitate and take on some local courses which was a net benefit to my overall health. In turn this led to the setting up a local charity where I could utilise my previous skills and life experience to benefit the health and wellbeing of others in the local community, through physical activity.
