I have knowledge and experience in several fields and industries that together have added greatly to my skills and abilities. I am using these abilities to excel at my current position. I have grown from a Contracts Administrator / AIA billing, to a Project Coordinator, to an Engineer, and to my current role as an Assistant Project Manager. Having paralegal experience and experience in planning has made reviewing and revising contracts and subcontracts a much easier task. I have mastered the Construction Administration role and growing daily as a Field Administrator. I am able to provide detailed reviews and protect my current employer from liabilities relating to construction work. I utilize my abilities to analytically look at a project and review what will be contract work and what will be additional work items for request or proposal. I have found the areas to track to not only increase our business flow but also to analyze why we are not getting projects. I have a great rapport with the general contractors as well as the employees in the field to always be "in the know" on a project. I also studied and obtained my Heavy Highway Grading and Excavation, and Sewer/ Water classifications for the North Carolina Contractor's license to be a qualifier at a previous employer. I have previous experience with human resources and payroll experience with a general contractor as well. On the side I also craft decor, assist individuals with decor and colors for their home, hike and yoga. I am an avid dog lover and appreciate the simpler country lifestyle. I enjoy antiquing and recycling materials.
I will be working on procuremnt, contracts, change orders, progress tracking, and onsite project management.
I will be working as the Assistant Project Manager in the field working on submittals, RFIs, and changes while coordinating tasks with subcontractors on renovations focused in the banking industry.
Growing from my position as Project Coordinator to Engineer! Working more in detail on plans, scopes, verifying work, and more detailed document work. Love my job!
