I'm a chartered accountant CA(SA) with 20+ years experience building and scaling both payments companies and finance functions across emerging markets — most recently leading growth across Africa for dLocal, a Nasdaq-listed cross-border payments platform. I work at the intersection of Cards, Mobile Money, Stabelcoins, and realtime payments while helping build cross-border financial infrastructures. I help payment companies launch and expand into complex, high-growth countries across Africa and support the Sales teams to help their merchants to launch and expand their operations in these countries. I help with payment reconcilations, settlements, Treasury, Cashflow, FX Management and cross-border operations. I've served as CFO and in CFO-equivalent roles across retail and manufacturing — structuring deals, building FP&A capabilities, and partnering with the CEO, and presenting at board level. I build advanced excel models, supported by data and cross-referenced with AI Agent reviews, to drive and support financial decisions or analyse future strategy.
