A start-up in the business of distributing medical grade laser equipment and house brand cosmetics. Key Highlights: • Represented “Quantel Derma” and re-established market presence after a 3 year absence. Concluded sale of 1 machine and held successful clinical trials with 3 doctors in first year. Total sales exceeded S$100k. • Successfully developed and setup company website. Company website was on first page of search results for “Aesthetic MD” • Created a new facial product with own brand name and own label. • Exhibited in 2 trade shows held in Marina Bay Sands and Resort World Singapore. • Successfully negotiated a design license from Nanyang Polytechnic for a trolley to complement one of the laser products. • Participated in a project involving IP and technology transfer of a patent from Nanyang Polytechnic. Key Highlights: • Contributed to draft copy of IP Handbook for whole of Public Service. Main contributions includes: drafting of cases in the handbook, post draft editing and proof-reading. • Contributed towards drafting of IP Competency Framework. Main contributions includes: initial conceptualisation, project direction and initial framework. • Successfully hosted 8 IP Consult sessions in 2009 and planned 12 IP Consult sessions for 2010. • Involved in early development of IP Competency Framework. • Conducted IP talks to SCDF and HPB. • Organised IP Talks to MOE(HQ), MOE(East Zone school Clusters) and NEA. • Successfully organised and delivered 3 IP Primer classes at IP Academy.

Key Highlights: • Successfully controlled module spending within +/-10% of budgeted amount. • Successfully restructured module Statistical Process Control system for easy detection of irregularities. New system reduced manpower required to monitor Control Charts from 5 manhour per day to 1 manhour per day. • Strategized and developed road map for module projects to achieve US$1 million savings, 5% uptime improvement and 10% reduction in defectivities.
