About

I always look for ways to improve processes and make things easier for myself and the team. I consider myself a creative thinker, but I apply my out-of-the-box thinking to even the administrative and communicative side of my work. I tend to work best with a more personal approach with coordinating team members or completing a task. I also consider myself flexible and autonomous, so I can thrive in a variety of situations. I've always sought valuable experience where it can be had, ranging from working on data engineering to games development on computers, to operating heavy machinery and familiarizing myself with Dangerous Goods handling and qualifications in compliance with IATA(International Air Transport Regulations). I've always been excellent at communicating those skills to others and demonstrating concepts to assist productivity. I do my best to instill positive relationships with those I work with, as I see it as one of the great keys to success.

Experience

  • DHL Express (On-site)
    • Field Service Supervisor
      May 2026 - Present · 3 mos

    • Operations Agent
      Jul 2020 - Present · 6 yrs 1 mo

Working in a small team of Operations Agents directly for DHL Express Americas, supervising and auditing the service partner (contractor)'s overall performance in completing deliveries and freight processing. Most freight processed is international, requiring direct administrative action with Customs and Dangerous Goods teams, and qualifications/knowledge of International law and government compliance. We effectively provide consultation on international shipping policies and procedure to allow smooth and expedited transit for the customer's freight, and troubleshooting it if there is an issue with Customs or compliance. I've created numerous Excel tools to assist with the data analysis, and management of hundreds/thousands of packages at a time, as well as provided instruction to employees and other management by working directly with them or providing training materials for them. I've performed video calls and presentations to large teams and even a workshop involving the whole west coast. I have also been sent away/flown from Sacramento to other locations to provide direct support. Due to a lot of the tools and procedures I've created the Delivery Station at Sacramento, CA has been able to maintain 100% Xray/CCSF checkpoint compliance, which has never been done before.
