• Safely removes all skids, carts and VRE racks from the refrigerator for all outgoing routes/deliveries for that day. • Strips skids of all plastic wrapping so that the loading process can commence into the delivery vans. • Prepares customer orders for transport by ensuring all temperature safety guidelines are followed. • Main liaison between drivers and the hot food expediter by bringing out the ovens to be loaded once ready. • Promptly delivers products to their intended locations, while ensuring order accuracy. • On occasion, completes home deliveries once daycare deliveries are completed. • When everything is completed, bins, pans and any other equipment must be organized and cleaned when returning to RFRK. • On call to either assist other drivers in making deliveries or delivering an urgent request due to a spill or missed item(s).
• Ensure safe inspection of vehicle, circle checks, mechanical checks etc. before it enters service and wrote reports and inform mechanics on anything that goes wrong during service. • Compare list of all daily deliveries with what was loaded onto the truck. • Make sure all cylinders are labeled correctly and are legible. • Accurately count the amount of cylinders on the truck and mark it down on the daily paperwork, while also adding and subtracting as deliveries are made throughout the day. • Ensure placards are correct and coincide with what is on the truck. • Making sure that all cash transactions are completed correctly and that any transactions done by credit card are phoned into the order desk immediately. • Assists customers who may have ordered an incorrect size or item, by carrying various sizes and gases. • Making sure all deliveries are completed daily.
• Assists customer in Toronto and the GTA with motor vehicle issues from towing and boosting to providing gas to get them on their way to/from work, appointments and safely back to their families • Ensure clients safety at all times while securing vehicles to truck and mechanical hookup • Patient with customers, mindful of those with special needs to ensure they are transported to a safe location at all times especially during the winter months and hazard road conditions • Listen emphatically to clients’ frustrations with our service and apologize for delays and wait time, while calming them down at the same time • Ensure safe inspection of tow truck, circle checks, mechanical checks etc. before it enters service and wrote reports and inform mechanics on anything that goes wrong during service • Verify with control on clients’ services, outstanding accounts, billing information etc. • Prepare invoices on itemize service provided and make credit card charges to client’s account • Provide independent services to on-call customers and those with on-the-street issues • File and sort all daily transactions in filing cabinet and online reporting system • Consult with control and other operators on various issues to help facilitate services • Provide feedback to my colleagues on new vehicles challenges and OEM rights • Assist my team in providing the best service possible at all times
Responsibilities include preparing letters for accounts that have a negative balance or for clients that we have been unable to reach, as well as preparing welcome packages for new clients and receiving all incoming mail pertaining to account applications for review, providing backup for the NBIS cage, which includes approving and printing cheques as well as EFT’s.
