About

Experienced energy industry professional currently working as a Senior Manager in Growth and Development for Europe and Africa at Wärtsilä Energy. Prior to my current role, I was Energy Analyst in the Renewable Energy Division at the International Energy Agency. I have over 15 years experience in energy market analysis, power supply strategy, power purchase agreement (PPA) sourcing, negotiation and execution, cost and generation modeling, supply chain analysis and database development and administration. At the IEA, I specialized in the North American, Latin American, Northern and Eastern European, Australian and sub-Saharan African renewable electricity markets analysing trends and drivers that promote renewable capacity expansion on a country and regional level basis. This analysis provides clarity for global growth in renewable technologies including solar PV, wind and hydropower. In addition to renewable electricity development, I was a lead author on the IEA’s Global Solar PV Supply Chains report, providing supply chain market analysis of the crystalline silicon solar PV supply chain. Primary roles on the report included manufacturing cost modelling in each market segment and job-creation modelling per component. Formerly a Senior Project Manager at Ampion, a solar energy operator, working on new market development and strategy in addition to client and consumer analytics and operations; responsibilities included production modelling, subscriber analysis and modelling, utility and policy interface and operations management. At the Wellesley MLP, responsibilities included business strategy, power supply strategy, energy procurement and managing/evaluating major infrastructure projects; I also supervised the metering department. In addition, I designed and launched the WMLP's municipal broadband service, providing gigabit service to customers. I graduated from Tufts University with a MS in Engineering Management with Distinction (2016); I hold a BA in History with a minor in Humanities from Kenyon College (2011).
