I am an automotive technician and shop manager. I have also worked in the customer service side of the automotive industry as well. I answered phones, built quotes, and took care of customer service relation problems. Service writing gave me a unique perspective when becoming a technician. It allows me to see things more from the customer and service writers point of view. This helps eliminate some of the communication problems that can arise during the process of fixing a car. In the shop manager role I help organize work flow in the shop area of the business. This helps improve productivity and efficiency.
