I have been involved in one way or another with Workato since its inception, and finally took the full-time plunge. Workato is an amazingly dyanmic company with a global reach. These are very exciting times.
I have been a partner with the Financial Services Division of David Powell since July 1, 2009. From June 2012 to January 2014 I was also the full time Chief Financial Officer of Cloudmark, Inc., a leading software security provider, although I continued to advise a few companies through the DPI FSD platform. In February of 2014 I returned to consulting on a full-time basis. Current clients run the gamut from a provider of open source technology to the wireless world, a supplier of procurement risk software, tools and content, a cloud applications integration provider, a provider of promotional analytics software, and other leading venture based companies. Past clients include companies involved in mobile gaming, mobile video sharing, cloud based sharing applications, and digital couponing, among others. I have had a number of liquidity events, including sales of clients to Disney, Polycom, Skype and Google. Some of my clients today include Workato, Resilinc, EmployeeChannel, PsiQuantum, Entic, and others. While recently most of my clients have been providers of SaaS solutions, I also support several companies building hardware. I have taken 6 companies through successful audits, mostly by the Big 4 CPA firms. Many of my client have had international operations in Europe and in Asia. I have had a broad set of management responsibilities beyond finance in my career, including line management and sales, marketing, professional services, legal affairs, and human resources, which allows me not only to see the numbers but position me to become a close advisor to the CEO and other members of the senior management team.
I oversee finance, HR, and corporate development at Cloudmark.
I served on the main Board, Chaired the Finance Committee, and was a member of the Executive Committee of this large non profit.
Responsible for operations (real time mission critical data center), government business, business development, professional services, finance, legal affairs, and HR.
