I am fortunate to have been able to not only do what i enjoy for a living but actually enjoy it . I have worked over a good portion of the United States. I have meet good people saw amazing sites and have had great training along the way . I realize a lot of people go through life performing jobs just to get a check , not me i could have went other avenues.At a younger age i noticed how i liked to see new developments in industry and enjoyed the process of repairs , diagnostics and the pursuit of product improvements. I learned in business a long time ago how diversity would be my lively hood . I also enjoy being a specialist in a specific field ,but just as much i also enjoy being a maintenance specialist . i also have a great respect for the team work it takes to accomplish the goal of production in all fields.At present im working with 3 phase electrical/repairs an solutions .
I have the privilege's of working with a good group of men in a close environment. This has been a great adventure ,working with the melt shop production and maintenance personal . We work on different projects and do anything needed to ensure safe and productive operations .
Analyzes the failures of the equipment. Troubleshoot all maintenance finding .Track trends of the equipment performance. I work with other t.s.’s from other lines ,in the event that the issues I see may be developing across other areas of the mill. We compare issues with the other lines and work with the other specialist the resolve future issues. I am responsible for reviewing drawing coming up with solutions of the equipment and making modification of the equipment .Develop and review p.m. procedures and revise as needed .Develop proposals for capital projects , compose and give technical descriptions for the mill and also the mechanics in the field . I work with the mechanics to ensure jobs are performed in a timely manner . Gather information from other mechanics /technicians and collaborate with them on their findings. Our goal is to eliminate any and all unnecessary down turns in the equipment.
To repair any and all problems with the trucks or the concrete plant and the crusher as needed or required .Job duties array from rewiring equipment, welding trouble shooting issues, dealing with drivers complaints or production issues with process.
Ensure that all rolling mills were maintaining safe and productive operations within company and safety guidelines. Monitor operations including electrical and 3 phase power PLC 24 volt system, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, air over systems and fabricating to ensure production goals are being met.
Repair and maintain cranes throughout a substantial 20 state territory providing all call service. I worked directly with multiple customers and relayed troubleshooting findings to the shop office communicating issues that were being repaired according to company policy to ensure safety and productive environment.
