• Leading in coordinating the transfer of equipment and machinery among factories in Vietnam, US, China, and Mexico to meet businees flexibility and adaptability (both Pitching and Catching side). • Managing a team of specialists on Poka-yoke improvement solutions, upgrades and implementation of automated machinery, and product traceability systems. • Develop a TPM Intranet system to centralize and standardize predictive maintenance data, . Leading in data digitalization and transformation. • Implementing machinery improvement projects to enhance machine performance and reliability. • Lead the plant Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment, driving KPIs of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People. • Responsible for maintenance schedule creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out, maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime, change over time • Control Department Expense and Capital to meet approved budget and Business needs. • Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems. • Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals. Enhance Equipment reliability according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality (pFMEA). • Take accountability as TPM leader to develop and apply TPM, procedure and best practice tools in manufacturing site, develop EAM system: Master data, Asset movement, Repair (by request), Maintenance work order and stock take. • Be responsible for setting up new production test/ trial lines basing on manufacturing standard, process, technical requirements, supporting to Engineering Build/ Qualification Build, ensure Mass Production running smoothly. • Build up successor plan and development plan in short term and long term for Hipo talent (IDP)
1. Coordinated activities - With third party partner and OEM to do Overhaul and maintenance on schedule. - With cross functional department on master production planning to produce CO2 9Kg tanks for Postmix product. 2. Goals setting and action plan: - Build up master Utility action plan in yearly, monthly and weekly (AOP) based on business demand and production situation. - Cascading to downstream (Supervisors/ Technicians) and managing the performance. - Periodically report with plant team review weekly, monthly. 3. Operation and Maintenance managing activities - Managing and monitoring all the operation activities of Utility & Facility to ensure the efficiency and compliance with legal, procedure and instruction of NH3 refrigeration system, CO2, N2 system, Boiler system, high & low pressure air compressor, HVAC and chiller & cooling towers. - Ensure all machines, equipment having strict requirement on labor safety are verified and calibrated on schedule. - Review & update operating procedure and troubleshooting instructions. - Plan to implement 5S and Standardization & Visualization. - Perform AM and PM for all Utility equipment according to the plan. - Roll out CILT program (Autonomous Maintenance) for Utility equipment. - Build Kaizen culture and support team to implement Kaizen, especially Quick & Easy Kaizen. - Participating in troubleshooting machinery failures which affected to overall operation. - Ensuring activities in line with plant general orientation and Maintenance Department. 4. People development - Coaching and training for new staffs (especially: Management Trainee, Engineer talent...) - Applying rotation and tracking performance & giving employees feedback. - Implementing a new human resource policy for team members - Goal setting for team performance development, cascading and assessments. - Establish internal team lessons/ innovation to achieve Energy saving goals - Keeping track of employees leave, over time and working hours.
- Leading maintenance schedule as well as enhance preventive maintenance for Electrical & Automation system, ensure troubleshoot and put the system back to normal production in the shortest possible time (In charge for 7 line production: CAN, PET HF, PET CF, RGB and Utility). - Managing Electrical & Automation Team Included shiftly Technicians (5 Techs), 2 Supervisors and 1 GET, HVAC & Chiller team (outsource 3 Techs), Coding (1 Tech), glue tank Nordson (1 Tech). - Rolling out Computerize Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program for Maintenance department. - Proposing OPEX & CAPEX annual budget and work with project team to deliver capex projects in plant: Upgrade CIP system, install new machine... - Leading and rolling out CILT (daily maintenance) & Time Base Maintenancen activities for 7 lines production. - Strengthening Standard Procedures (SOP) for Maintenance department, - Building up and training/ coaching for key person and talent Maintenance Supervisors/ Technicians. - Working with foreign experts of OEM (SIDEL, KHS, KRONES, Tetrapak, SMI, SACMI...) to troubleshoot issues, upgrade and prepare for new product launching.
- Planning and managing Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Budget follow close to Maintenance master plan, AOP (OPEX and CAPEX). - Planning and preparing spare parts for Lines and Utility, create Engineering Specification & Scope of Work (SOW) for project of CAPEX. - Control Spare parts Inventory stock , Critical and consumable parts. - Document control: SOP, HACCP, ISO & OHSAS, FSSC support plant to pass Quality audits (Internal and external). - Deliver the plant's sustainability target, drive Successfully line Efficiency - Planning spare parts demand and working with procurement team as well as suppliers to meet lead time and delivery time, quality and quantity assurance also. - Working with foreign Experts for technical solution offer.

Representing University of Technology presented student's research product from my scientific research club - Pay It Forward. Participants had a chance to talk to U.S. Science Envoy Dr. Richmond and enjoyed great science products and presentations from others: Le Hong Phong Highschool for the Gifted, University of Science, Center for Molecular and NanoArchitecture, Microsoft, and National Instruments.
This is a project that our club had partnered with Cat Tien Sa company to make swivel chairs for Examiners (including mechanical and automation control) and lighting systems for chairs. As a team Leader, I took accountability to analyze and build master plan as well as supervise, manage my team. The hardest part as well as our weakness is the mechanical construction of the rotating frame. With the effort and perfect combination between 2 teams: hardware and software. We completed the project on schedule and brang satisfaction to our customers. From this project, I learned lots of experiences, share from team’s senior members and how to effective work with my partners to complete our project.
