Play both the Resource Manager and People Manager roles for group of 80+ resources and growing team spread across multiple clients/accounts, mainly in the banking industry. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to hire the right people at the right time. Plan and assist employees in professional growth and career development. Ensure a necessary and sufficient level of employees' professional motivation. Represent and protect employees' interests on various levels within the company (corporate, unit, project). Make decisions regarding employees' salary changes and obtain required approval from senior management. Organize information exchange between employees and units. Support and promote the corporate culture within the unit, promote the corporate image for employees and external candidates. Create and optimize necessary working conditions for employees. Support delivery teams with participation in project coordination and supervision. Engage client on Account Management matters. Work with clients on new opportunities. Monitor the employees' work on the projects through communication with Delivery/Project Managers and Account Managers. Provide effective project staffing upon request of Delivery/Project Managers and Account Managers. Plan and optimize employees' replacement process (succession planning, rotation, relocation). Contribute to organizational development. Support interactions between the unit and other units, shared services within the company. Build an effective organizational and managerial structure in the unit. Gather, maintain and expand technological and managerial expertise within the unit. Optimize and maintain the bench structure to support unit development for seeking new projects, etc. Develop and realize long-term plan for development of the unit according to the corporate/business group/country strategy. Support the Company growth. Support technology management on the corporate level.
Responsibilities: 1. Participate in triage and routing of resource requests received by the region for both the APJ Sales and APJ Global Sales Support Teams 2. Work with recruiters and region leaders to ensure timely fulfillment of hiring requirements for both teams 3. Weekly tracking of hiring fulfillment via spreadsheet 4. Initiate weekly meeting with recruiters and hiring manager on hiring fulfillment 5. Review & monitor key activities & effectiveness of controls, & undertake risk mitigation measures to prevent non-compliance of operational processes & controls & maintain a satisfactory audit posture for resource operations. 6. Submit hiring requests via TALEO and ORC 7. Track and follow ups with hiring review board on hiring approvals 8. Resolve issues effectively & escalate to country & regional management on a timely basis 9. Work with APJ Global Sales Support region leaders to set yearly or quarter goals for their team 10. Conduct monthly post pursuit performance survey to increase the efficiency and identify areas of strength and weakness for improvement 11. To be the Go-To Communications Co-coordinator for APJ Global Sales Support 12. Interim PMO support for China due to headcount shortage Achievements: 1. Successfully migrated the China Sales Support team to clock time via OMEGA 2. Successfully facilitated the hiring ramp up for both the APJ Sales and APJ Global Sales Support, thus achieving the hiring quota, hiring 100 over resources across the APJ region within 3 months (Aug to Oct 10)
