Tracey is a driven and credible Human Resources Leader with over twenty years of professional hands on experience leading program management and development, specializing in compensation, rewards, labour relations, employee relations, talent acquisition, talent planning, staffing and talent management disciplines.
Partner with business unit management to develop specific HR strategies and actions to support short and longer-term business goals. Advise management on the broad spectrum of human resource management, including: recruitment, workforce planning, organization design, compensation, leadership effectiveness and succession planning, performance management, employee and labour relations, employee engagement, workplace culture, diversity and inclusion, employee wellness and change management as well as the interpretation and application of corporate policy, collective agreements, governance and applicable legislation.
Provide a senior level of compensation advice and support by collaborating with HR business partners and clients to address compensation issues which align with business goals and ensure corporate consistency by: • Providing job design advice to clients. • Conducting job evaluation using a variety of point factor plans for new and existing positions. • Chairing and/or participating as a voting member on corporate job evaluation committees. • Interpreting & applying compensation policy and/or collective bargaining agreement provisions • Developing job specifications and providing job documentation support to clients. • Conducting and participating in salary surveys. • Recommending new and amended pay rates for non-unionized casual positions to clients.
Provision of a senior level of labour and employee relations services which included the coordination and implementation of labour relations strategies and programs affecting relations between the Calgary Board of Education, employee groups (unions, associations, etc.) and employees.
