With over 35 years of industry experience, I am a technology executive, expert in radio frequency and analog circuit and system design, compassionate leader and visionary. I have a strong background in radio receiver planning and design, RF and microwave power amplifier design, and signal processing algorithms and related hardware. I hold multiple patents in wireless transmitter technology and have secret level II and NATO secret security clearances. I work with clients and partners across the telecommunications, intelligence and defense sectors to identify capability gaps, articulate operational and technical requirements, and negotiate price and delivery details. I also manage the day-to-day operation of a multi-disciplinary R&D department engaged in the development of complex radio-electronic systems for 5G NR network development and test. Led the Strategic Engineering team which is responsible for synthesizing solutions to complex technical problems, creating compelling technical proposals and overseeing the technical execution of complex projects. Created and negotiated financial proposals for new business opportunities. Worked with customers to establish requirements and scope for all projects. Mentored team members in the areas of technology, interpersonal and business skills. Prospected and closed over $6M in new defense and aerospace business in Q1 2024.

Led the development of an integrated tuner/downconverter to support the roll-out of 5G wireless networks in the 28 GHz band. Used by T&M equipment providers to extend equipment capability to monitor 5G base stations.
Managed a the strategic and day-to-day operation of a large multidisciplinary engineering team engaged in the development of radio transceivers, biometric sensors and protection systems. Prioritized and drove the focused execution to introduce numerous new products to production consistent with budget and schedule objectives.
As the third full-time member of the engineering team, I was instrumental in growing a revenue stream from $0 to $200M+/yr within 3 years. Managed all electronic hardware development resources in a fast paced dynamic environment focused on rapid development of several classified (Secret) and ITAR US government development programs.
Managed a team of electronic designers that were engaged in RF design, digital signal processing (DSP) and modem design.
Conceived the system architecture and designed the prototype of an intelligent radio repeater for mobile communications.
