Ensure, together with the Business Units, the Vendors Qualification and Development Process for the entire group promoting the integration with the sustainability Eni model; Manage the update of the Vendors Data Base specifically focused on Strategic Vendors including subcontractors monitoring and control; Promote and coordinate Market Intelligence Activities together with Category Managers and Business Units; Update the Eni’s Vendor List and promote the quantity/quality optimisation either internally and / or through define improvement plan agreed with Vendors; Collect and analyse feedback on Vendors/SubVendors Performance granting relevant reporting and Vendor Rating update; Ensure the expediting and inspection activities; Implement Market analysis and study direct to select commodities on which strategic sourcing activities could apply.
Responsible for managing all aspects of the Procurement & Logistics program, including the Logistics and Material Management activities, associated with the Karachaganak Field Activities. The incumbent supervises the multicultural professional staff in the Contracts, Logistics and Materials Sections (130 people splitted in four sections: Contracts – Planning, Reporting & Special Projects – Logistics – Materials). This involves the setting of policies in these areas to ensure consistency of policy and that all divisional objectives are met. The Karachaganak Project is related the develop of oil and gas field concernine an investment of US$ 4,000,000,000.00 approx. till 2003. Responsible of a Procurement activity of approx. 500,000,000.00 per annum, with a departmental budget of approx. 15/20 million of US$ per annum.
Supervising the Strategic Contracts (Framework, Alliance, Partnering, Incentive, ect.) relevant to drilling and auxiliary services, supply of wellheads and x-mas trees, supply of subsea production systems, supply of OCTG goods. Four months c/o NAOC in Port Harcourt (Nigeria) for the negotiation and finalisation of drilling and auxiliary contracts related to Deep off-shore activity.One month c/o KIO in London for the evaluation and finalisation of International bid for Drilling and Work-over activities on Karachaganak Field (Republic of Kazkahstan). Part of Integrated Evaluation Team formed by secondees of Agip, Texano, BG.
Supervising the purchasing process for Drilling Auxiliary Services and Goods (i.e.: Directional drilling, Well Testing, D.S.T., Coring, Mud Logging, Electrical Logs, Additives, Chemicals, Well Heads & X-mas Trees and for OCTG goods (i.e.: casing – tubing). Two months activity in Yemen c/o Agip Yemen b.v. for definition, evaluation and finalisation of a Turn-Key / Integrated Contract for Onshore Drilling Activity. Five months in Beijing and Tarim Basin for definition, evaluation and finalisation of contracts for Drilling Rig and Auxiliary Services, supplì of well head – tubulars ect., Mud Logging, Electrical Logs, leasing of aircraft and seismic activity related to Tarim Basin Exploration activities.
Supervising the purchasing contracts for Civil Works. One month in Siberia (Russian Federation) for definition of the Procurement strategy related the activity on Vostochno Field (West Siberia). Supervising the purchasing contracts for Drilling Rig and Civil Works & Alternative Energy Resources.
