- Monitor and coordinate zone and tail assignments for aircraft ground services, gate management, and communication to ensure seamless aircraft movements and operational efficiency. - Act as a liaison between multiple operational teams and contractors, including Inflight, Operations Control Centre, catering, ground crews, and service providers, to coordinate and oversee end-to-end aircraft operations while maintaining SPOT and OTP standards. - Manage daily morning operations by running the turn schedule, tracking weather and security conditions, and assessing the headstart program to proactively address delays and reassign flights to ensure smooth operations and identify and mitigate security, resource allocation, and third-party services risks. - Conduct flight performance investigations, assign accurate delay codes, and update reports to track operational efficiency. Monitor flights and communicate departure KPIs to optimize turnaround times and provide real-time support to gate agents.
- Collaborated with the Workforce Planner to develop comprehensive above-the-wing YYC airport schedules every six weeks for multiple workgroups, optimizing resource allocation and operational efficiency. Proactively monitored staffing levels in coordination with managers to ensure adequate coverage for daily operations, peak demands, training, and flight schedule changes. - Reconciled daily payroll records for 600 agents using Kronos Admin, managing overtime, missed breaks, sick pay, vacation accruals, and STD claims. Provided support to Guest Service Managers and assisted agents with schedule adjustments related to WCB, approved leaves, and modified duties while overseeing workforce reporting for 800+ agents and 500+ flight tasks.
- Provided direct assistance to guests with check-in procedures, reservations, baggage tagging, and inquiries, ensuring a seamless travel experience. Utilized industry-specific tools such as SabreSonic, Timatic, and AVS to deliver efficient and accurate service while professionally addressing guest concerns. - Managed gate operations, including aircraft arrivals, departures, boarding processes, and compliance with safety protocols, ensuring on-time performance. Proactively engaged with guests to create meaningful and memorable experiences, consistently exceeding expectations through exceptional service.
- Served as the primary point of contact for frontline staffing, managing daily duties, break assignments, staff call-ins, shift exceptions, and real-time staff adjustments to meet operational needs. Ensured compliance with established procedures while coordinating employee work assignments for accuracy and efficiency. - Developed and implemented next-day staffing plans, considering flight arrivals, departures, specials, and check-in requirements to optimize operations. Generated critical reports, including headstart reports for senior management, next-day staffing reports, flight delay coding, and ad-hoc reports as requested by leadership. - Partnered with IROP, DDC, Dispatch, TAC DDC, and duty management teams to execute action plans for shifting priorities, including IROPs, flight delays, tail swaps, diversions, and weather disruptions. Provided direct support to on-shift employees while handling sensitive and confidential information to ensure seamless operations.
