Thursday Dating is a global company on a mission to get people off the apps and into real-life connections. In Sydney, they run weekly events that make it easy (and fun) for singles to meet face-to-face, no awkward small talk required. As an Event Host, I am part of those “spark” moments and created an atmosphere where people felt genuinely connected. I’m a big believer that humans are wired for connection and it’s a joy to help make that happen in person. What I do: • Greet and check in guests with a friendly face. • Make sure no one is left standing awkwardly alone. • Capture authentic content to support social media promotion. • Keep the energy safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone.
Oxygen College is a registered training organisation that offers nationally accredited qualifications in Music Performance and Composition, Digital Content Creation, Photography, Sound Production, Video Production, and Visual Arts. They have campuses in Geelong and Ballarat. I supported a trainer to teach the BSBMKG537 Develop a social media engagement plan unit as part of the Diploma of Digital Content Creation students. My role required me to plan assessments, plan and create learning materials for each week, present and engage students in a three-hour workshop each week under supervision, and provide guidance on assessment marking.
