I am pursuing an MSc in Investigative and Forensic Psychology at University of Liverpool, since recently graduating from Loughborough University with a high 2:1 in BSc Psychology with a Diploma in Professional Studies.
Creating online training materials for university staff on topics such as supporting neurodivergent learners and reasonable adjustments. Contributing my student experience to a university-wide initiative focused on enhancing student success. Presenting my team’s work to academic staff and receiving insightful feedback which further enhanced the work on inclusive assessments.
I completed my university year in industry as a HR Intern at MediaTek. My roles included employee engagement, employee support and assisting in HR projects. - Organising monthly employee engagement social events to allow for inter-team networking. - Completing a full movement of HR files to SharePoint to allow for global access. - Enhancing communication within the company through notice boards, newsletters and an employee facing Service Portal. - Shared my knowledge of SharePoint and the employee facing Service Portal with international colleagues. - Ensured compliance with UK laws surrounding GDPR, immigration and export control.
I organised stock to be visually appealing to customers, as well as in a logical manner to easily locate items. I handled large sums on money with cash and card in a range of transactions, compiling with company regulations to ensure accurate management. I worked in a large team with a variety of members and contributed ideas to improve service for the customers. I communicated with customers regularly, ensuring a positive experience within the shop to promote their continued business with the company.
Worked as a waitress serving tables and taking orders, and also as bar staff making drinks and arranging bills as a part-time job Demonstrated management skills by dong a range of tasks and effectively delegating them to strongest members to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Enhancing my communication to efficiently convey tasks and collaborating with colleagues. Learnt how to adapt my behavior and skills to suit the wide range of tasks and customers.
