About

I am a gender health equity advocate, researcher, and entrepreneur on a mission to eliminate sexism, shame, and stigma from health experiences. In 2019, I founded Medical Herstory, an international award-winning non-profit advancing gender health equity through medical education, patient advocacy, and undoing social stigma. Today, we have welcomed thousands to join our mission and share their stories to inspire change. Alongside this role, I am a full-time staff member at the University of Oxford where I am an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow completing a DPhil on gender health inequity. As a feminist health researcher, I have secured over $1M in funding to help close the gender health gap. I am an outspoken advocate and patient-researcher whose words have been featured in dozens of publications including Cosmopolitan, Hunger Magazine, and Chatelaine. I have had the pleasure of speaking for leading organisations including UNWomen, the RCOG, and CanWaCH. My work advancing gender health equity has consistently been recognised for generating impact, building community, and uplifting others. I have been named a Rising Star Champion by We Are the City.
