Economist with comprehensive competences in analysis and research in a series of topics in economics and associated disciplines. One topic concerns individual and firm specific analysis based on large structured linked employer-employee register data dealing with labor market dynamics, firm performance, innovation and creative occupations. A second topic addresses the regional level based on both standard regional data and non-standard types of data, for example from geographic information systems (ArcGIS). A third topic focusses on international trade based on large, semi-structured datasets on individual cargoes of trade flows. I have also worked with survey and interview data. My teaching focusses extensively on both macroeconomics, international economics and economic integration processes, but also includes courses on innovation, business clusters, agglomeration and labor markets.
