I’m a lifelong learner exploring the global phenomenon of digital government
• Analyzing AI adoption in the public sector by synthesizing global use cases, policies, and frameworks to inform evidence-based recommendations • Interpreting international digital government survey data to identify best practices and emerging trends in the digital transformation of government
• Pursuing completion of my doctoral thesis by researching the global phenomenon of digital transformation in the public sector and its contributing factors • Continuing to undertake impromptu adventures in order to become a better global citizen, to live outside of my comfort zone, and to challenge my perspectives
• Collaboratively stood up the newly established Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) in a way that embraces a problem-centric, solution-agnostic mindset • Conceptualized intersections of human-centered design, lean innovation, and commercialization to help unimaginable ideas transition into “survive in the wild” solutions for the US healthcare market • Conducted qualitative research to better empathise with stakeholders in their government experience, define problems, and ideate solutions for the Veterans Experience Office • Simplified complexities of Veterans Affairs (VA) experiences by capturing user insights, applying thematic analysis, and communicating findings with tools such as journey maps
• Undertaking an impromptu adventure in order to become a better global citizen, to challenge my perspective, and to live outside of my comfort zone • Immersing myself amongst different peoples and lifestyles across New Zealand, Ireland, France, Canada, and the United States • Navigating ambiguity regularly, improvising plans frequently, and adhering to both financial budgets and time constraints
• Catalyzed new strategic projects across the institution by championing the Real-Time Locating System technologies and unlocking high-impact insights from big data • Designed, prototyped, and piloted an Emergency Department Trauma Elapsed Timer application to improve patient case awareness and trauma team performance • Employed change management to implement lean-driven workflows and digital transformation for the effective management of consumable assets across the campus • Collaborated with Senior Directors to utilize cloud technologies in order to improve committee collaborative practices for greater efficiency with demonstrated outcomes
