Supported large PM teams across Reality Labs, Developer Platform, Facebook, and Messenger teams, largely focused on improving safety, privacy, and trust outcomes. Highlights: * With Meta's Reality Labs Trust teams, we built people's trust across all our new hardware + metaverse products (Quest, RayBan Stories, Horizon, MetaAI, etc.), with a particular focus for younger users (teens) and Meta's AI products. * With Developer Platform, I made it easier for developers to onboard and use Meta API products. * With Civic Integrity, I led our "At-Risk Countries" work, established how Facebook minimizes the impact of its platforms on global violence, and supported elections around the world (e.g. US2020, Myanmar). * With News Feed Integrity, I led ranking and relevance work for public comments on Facebook. * With Messenger, I introduced end to end encryption to Messenger and built our first version of Augmented Reality camera effects. I also led Facebook's ~90 Rotational Product Manager program, bringing dozens of new PM's to Facebook across 5 offices every year.
PayPal Here helped SMBs accept credit card payments through their iOS, Android, or Windows device. • Established product vision for PayPal Here & other merchant-facing mobile apps • Managed team of 4 PM's and 6 development teams (40 engineers, 8 designers) including iOS/Android app development, mobile SDKs, and back-end payment processing • Launched EMV (chip card) mobile payment capabilities for PayPal Here in Australia, UK, and the US • Improved app store ratings for iOS and Android PayPal Here apps from ~2.5 to 4.0+ stars • Developed iOS & Android SDKs to help 3rd party app developers integrate mobile payments into their apps using PayPal card reader technology & payment rails • Built iOS (iPhone/iPad), Windows, and Android (Phone/Tablet) versions of PayPal Here apps
Zecco was an online brokerage startup; I led the product & design teams through Series A & B. Zecco was acquired in 2012 by TradeKing, then in 2016 by Ally Financial. • Reported to CEO and managed team of five product, design, and QA staff • Grew account base to 200k+ funded account holders leading to company’s acquisition • Developed a new stock and options trading platform, including the top-rated iPhone + Android apps in the industry • Managed technology vendors and annual department budget; reduced technology costs over 50% by transitioning to an offshore development model
