In past internships and certifications in web and iOS development, I gained skills in user-centered design on multiple platforms, pushing technical constraints, and communicating with both designers and developers. As a UI/UX designer, I acquired further skills through my studies for the Google UX Professional Certificate in product thinking as well as visual, interaction and motion design. With eyes set on growing as a designer of visuals and experiences, I am extremely eager to apply and develop my knowledge with any team.
As a UI/UX Web Designer for Thinq.TV, my tasks were: - Collaborating with UX/UI team to redesign and expand website using HTML and CSS. - Creating and testing a mobile version of responsive website to accommodate new users. - Adding new features such as countdowns and email notifications to streams using Java and Ruby. - Solicited feedback from potential platform users to understand their perceptions of the site - Improved site usage and design based on user feedback
Over my 4 months of working on the Teekiu Fitness website, my role involved: - Communicating with UX/UI team for updates on KPIs, engagement and user feedback. - Updating designs and expanding website using HTML and CSS. - Collaborated with developers to make style guides and component libraries to reduce development time for future projects and expansions.
