Throughout my career I have gained a multitude of experience. I am a great believer in teamwork and feel you are only as good as the team you work with. I always ask my team members to perform their tasks rather than tell them. I am usually office based (60:40) but do like to get out into the field as much as possible to motivate my team and that way they see I don’t mind getting my hands dirty and pulling together with them to achieve targets. During my career I have worked on 7 CCGT’s ,1 Biomass and CHP Plant, 4 major oil rig builds, 3 Oil Refineries, 6 Wind Farm’s. Onshore and offshore and 2 Low Carbon Farm Projects for the following clients: ESSO, BP, Conoco Philips, MHI, Alstom, Statoil, Siemens, EDF, Centrica, Vattenfall, Scottish Power, MGT Teesside, ESB SES & RWE I moved away from the Oil Industry and furthered my career in the Power Industry, I found the work very interesting at the time and I feel as though I was a good asset to the workforce and planning.
