I am a highly organised, client facing Control Systems Engineer with exceptional written and verbal communication, organisation and co-ordination skills adding expertise, drive and commerciality with project-based experience spanning large scale greenfield and brownfield sites. I have an accomplished history of preparing and executing projects, ensuring work is completed both at the highest quality and in accordance to planned procedures, with customer satisfaction a key priority. • Plan and deliver process automation and process control improvements. • Provide process engineering support and advice. • Review, contribute and verify Process Engineering related work. • Work with Seqwater personnel and key stakeholders to ensure effective operation of SEQwater assets. • Maintain a stable and standardised engineering environment and incorporate best practice and system improvements. • Develop and verify process documentation, including P&IDs and Functional Descriptions. • Contribute to engineering reviews with specific emphasis on cost effectiveness, risk reduction, constructability and operability. Reviews include concept or detail design, HAZOP and HACCP Assessments.

I was responsible for the delivery of automation projects throughout the project life cycle including, initiation / planning / execution / reporting and closure. My achievements include; • having led engineering teams in the delivery of small projects up to $500K. • acted as the main point of contact, delivering technical expertise to support clients and colleagues. • successfully mentored graduates through the Honeywell Graduate program, which are thriving within their roles.
Being recognised as a SCADA specialist, I was relocated to to Houston for the Honeywell-BP Gulf of Mexico Program working with multiple teams and projects to deliver control system solutions for offshore platforms. Tasks included: • Configuration and checking of Safety Manager Logic. • Build and installation of DCS system. • Liaised with customers and vendors for design and procurement. • Design of DCS templates for simple control strategies.
Successfully completed the Honeywell Graduate program whilst delivering project-based control system tasks. • Working with client operations staff in the development of HMI and graphics. • Development and testing of sequence logic for LNG production systems. • Software and code development for DCS and SCADA. • Supporting Operator Training Simulations team with dynamic testing of control systems. • Troubleshooting errors within control strategies and implementing corrects to the designs as required by operations. • Assisting in loop tuning of PID controllers based on model data. • Training of client operations staff on the Experion control system.
