As a Chartered Civil Engineer, I have a wealth of experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering a wide range of projects. I am a drainage specialist, with a keen interest in SuDS. Proficient in the use of Civil 3D, AutoCAD and MicroDrainage to deliver projects from their initial concept through to delivery. Currently working as a Technical Manager for Pigeon Investment Management. We specialise in land promotion and development. Working within the Planning and Design Department, I undertake technical appraisals on prospective sites, ensuring that consideration is given from the very start to a sustainable project with SuDS at the forefront. I have extensive expereience from previous employment, managing teams in the delivery of Civil Engineering projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction on a wide range of projects including residential, retail, leisure, commercial and industrial. I have vast experience of undertaking Section 38 and Section 278 design work for highways approval and producing design packages for Section 104 and Section 106 applications for water companies. I am an active Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Institute of Highways Engineers.

I worked within the Highways department on highway and drainage projects. I worked on multi-million pound highway design schemes including the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief and Beswick Community Hub projects in Manchester.
I worked as a Graduate Engineer for 1 year and 7 months within the Highways department on highway and drainage projects before earning promotion to Engineer.
I spent a second summer placement working as an Assistant Site Engineer. I was introduced to the Trimble Total Station and quickly learnt how to use the machine to enable me to set out on site.
