1993-1999: CONTRACT MANAGER: - DEMA GLASS TECHNOLOGY (SLI) Covering all aspects of Contract Manager, Customer liaison, Budget control, Training, Shipping/packing, Design, Safety, Installation and Commissioning, lnvoice preparation, Presentation and Vetting of Letters of Credit/Bill’s of Exchange, Contract Insurance etc Contracts: - 1) 1999 - Vetrotec Borosilicate Glass for Danner Tubing £3.6m Contract for Green field Glass Plant in India – never commissioned – equipment shipped but never installed. 2) August/November 1998 Installed and Commissioned Glass plant in India (Surya Roshni – Malanpur 3” Ribbon M/C and 20” Danner Tubing), 14 weeks duration on site. 3) March/April 1998 Commissioned glass Plant in Indonesia (PT Litochindo – Chiyoda Group 3” Ribbon M/C and 20” Danner Tubing). 4) 1996 for supply/Installation and commissioning of Glass Manufacturing Plant and Equipment in India (CG Glass – Baroda, Gujarat Soda Glass 3” Ribbon M/C and 20” Danner Tubing). Contract value £8m, duration 3 years inclusive of 27 weeks total in India. 5) 1996 Supply/Installation and commissioning of Glass Manufacturing Plant and Equipment in India (CG Glass – Baroda, Gujarat Lead Glass 10” Danner Tubing). Responsibilities for the day-to-day Maintenance of the Bulb Plant Equipment covering all aspects of forming machines, product conveyor systems and process etc. 5 Workshops are included in the above area. Duties included the following: Improve design and development of Forming equipment. Organise and implement Planned maintenance systems/routines. Fault Diagnosis on Plant Equipment. Health and Safety implementation strategies etc. Type Equipment design for Forming machines. Spares stock control levels including estimating costs. Setting of Budget appropriations both Revenue and Capital. Project management. Setting up/operating Quality control systems both Mechanical inspection items and production process. Liaison directly with customers on fault queries and product development, Liaison with overseas clients in connection with machinery sales contracts, including installation and commissioning overseas. Installed and Commissioned the JIABOA Ribbon plant in Shanghai – China. Process training both with internal personnel and overseas clients
