I am passionate about helping people to achieve their leadership potential, including at times of career advancement and transition. I offer one-on-one and team based executive coaching, mentoring, training and leadership development services. Facilitation is also a key part of my work. My leadership development work revolves around my Three Rs of Leadership framework: Resources, Role and Results, which I tailor for each client. I developed the framework after reviewing numerous evidence-based approaches to leadership development. I am accredited to administer the Genos Emotional Intelligence Assessment Scale and the DISC Advanced Profile of behaviour. I design my services on a client-by-client basis, as no one-size-fits-all. I am very happy to work directly with individuals, as well as with sponsoring organisations. Given the professional services nature of my first career, most (but not all) of my clients tend to be lawyers, accountants and other professionals. I speak regularly on a wide range of leadership-related topics, as well as offering training sessions. In addition, I am a part-time academic at UNSW's Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), where I lecture in the MBA program. I am also a member of the Faculty at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, where I facilitate the Company Director Course. My first, 34 year career, was as a tax lawyer and Chartered Accountant, including seven years as Managing Director of leading tax advisory firm Greenwoods & Herbert Smith Freehills (acquired by PwC in 2022). As part of the retraining for my second career I undertook a Master of Science in Coaching Psychology at Sydney University, which was a highly rewarding experience.

I am delighted and very pleased to be accredited to facilitate three days of the AICD's leading five day Company Director Course: Governance and the Practice of Directorship, The Legal Environment, and Financial Literacy and Performance.
I am very pleased to be the non-executive chairman of the Leadenhall group of companies: being leading Australian corporate advisers.
I am writing a book. In fact, I have spent the last five years (on and off) working on my book. I have recently teamed up with the Expert Author Community to see how I might be able to not only improve what I have written, but gain some tips on how to find a publisher.
I currently lecture in the Law, Regulation & Ethics subject in the AGSM's MBA program. I love teaching this course, which is essentially about wise, ethical decision making and navigating the multitude of non-financial risks that executives confront on a daily basis. The subject is packed with interesting and up to date case studies.
