As the CEO and Co-founder of Lybe Scientific AS, I lead a team of passionate and innovative professionals who are developing novel solutions for life science, diagnostic and aquaculture applications. I have over 20 years of experience in the medical technology and life science field, spanning from research and development to business and strategy. I am a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) and an Associate Professor II at NTNU, where I am responsible for the School of Health Innovation. I have a strong track record of creating value from cutting-edge research, securing funding, building partnerships, and navigating regulatory affairs. My mission is to translate scientific discoveries into products that improve health outcomes and quality of life.
Responsible for The School of Health Innovation at NTNU in collaboration with UiO, Karolinska Institutet and Copenhagen University and funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The programme includes two courses for PhD and Post Docs: “Health innovation and entrepreneurship” and “Entrepreneurship in health care” in addition to a dedicated and condensed course for Professors.
Medical Technology is one of NTNU's strategic areas of research. I work as a coordinator of the Medical Biotechnology network and I am responsible for keeping track of the research and the research groups within the network, their publications, updating the web pages and organize seminars.
