About

Ton F. van Dijk has (over decades) published on Dutch national TV, and in all kinds of nationwide magazines. As such he became a prize winning investigative journalist in the Netherlands. As programming director for Dutch public television, NPO, he was elected "Broadcaster of the year" in 2007 for his leading role in the succesfull rebranding of the public televisionchannels Netherlands 1,2,3 and childrens tv Z@pp. In april 2017 Ton was appointed "Knight of the Order of Orange Nassau" by H.M. the King of The Netherlands. Ton F. van Dijk has a master's degree in Political Science & Public Administration and has broad creative, managerial and administrative experience in the media. Non profit as wel as profit. Strategy, change & people are Ton F van Dijk's key domains. The result of making this vital combination work can be rewarding as he experienced personally. His personal statement: "I'm used to working in complex circumstances with a lot of different stakeholders. From politics to media. My work is relevant, ideals matter to me. My leadership is opportunity driven, passionate and aimed at convincing people. I'd like to make a difference without a focus on personal power“ In 2016 (after being seriously ill from "Bechterew Disease" for some time) Ton F. van Dijk was diagnosed with (renal) cancer and he had to abandon his career in management and administration. He since then continues his activities as an independent 'outsider'. And foremost as a man of ideas. This, as he states: "On my own terms and within my personal limits". Finally, he is optimistic about the future and his ability to cope with his challenges.
