Thomas has spent several years working as a consultant in the financial services sector, and has previously worked as a full-time software developer & data scientist at several Fintech startups. Thomas studied information & bioengineering at the University of Cambridge, where he graduated with first-class honours, specialising in computational neuroscience and writing his Master's thesis on neural circuits.

MarkToMarket gathers and analyses data on M&A trends to provide a data-driven service to clients. I partnered with a senior developer to design and implement a system extracting information from hundreds of online articles each day, also built an internal service to compile millions of corporate records for advanced lookup and provided guidance to junior developers working on front-end design.
Gap Year Internship which consisted of several software projects involving machine learning and natural language processing. Also worked closely with the CEO to design and implement demos of company technology, which were used in pitches to many clients.
