I am responsible for establishing the team's goals and strategy to reach these goals, and managing the day-to-day operations, the team performance and the HR. The goal of the team (23 people) is to assist researchers of several domains with statistics and data science.
As a certified 80/20 Endurance coach I guide ambitious recreational runners to run faster and farther with great enjoyment. This is realized by designing tailor made training plans for individual athletes and their specific goals and circumstances. The plans include features to realize personal growth that can be applied outside running and can lead to a sustainable increase in quality of life.

Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, the team performance and the HR of a team of four employees and Deputy Head of a team of 19 employees. As certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, I manage projects aimed at improving process efficiency. As Regional Statistical Coordination Officer (RESCO), I function as a liaison for Statistics Netherlands to Eurostat and the European Commission (DG REGIO) for issues concerning regional statistics. I represent Statistics Netherlands at yearly meetings with representatives of European statistical offices, Eurostat and the European Commission.
Statistical Researcher at the department of Social-Economic and Spatial Statistics with a focus on the coordination of activities related to the system of social statistical datasets (SSD) and the maintenance and coordination of internal and external use of regional classifications (e.g. municipality, zip code, COROP and NUTS).
