I am also passionate about travelling and teaching, having spent a lot of time abroad as an English teacher and backpacker in various countries around the world. As a Sales representative for Guide Dogs Australia, one of Australia’s Top 5 charities who raised over $11 million last year, I generated over $5,000 in donation value to the charity through subscription sales, despite switching campaigns and having no prior experience.
I prepared and filed the financial accounts for Axa XL on a quarterly and annual basis, which included turnover of over $500 billion, on time and without error, whilst following the strict insurance industry & GAAP structural reporting requirements. I helped to produce the end of year financial reports to summarise the financial accounts and I prepared the analysis on the results for presentation to the board. On a side project, I saved Axa XL over 50 hours of manually inputting data per month and thousands of dollars by simplifying the annual reporting process and implementing an automation process for future years through formulas in Microsoft Excel and links between spreadsheets.
