I’m passionate about helping entrepreneurs build a finance function that gives them the creative space to spend their time doing what they are best at. I work as a fractional CFO which means I look after a number of clients typically for 2-4 days a month each who need the skill set of a senior CFO but don’t require a full-time resource. Before starting any new client relationship, I like to understand what it is you really want both in terms of your company’s goals and your own goals as an entrepreneur and individual. We can then build a robust plan designed to deliver those outcomes. Whether you are looking to scale faster, prepare your business for exit, retire early, indulge your passion, or spend more time with your family doing things you really enjoy, I will work with you to build the plan that enables you to fulfil your life’s ambition. Please feel free to send me a message if you’d like to arrange a conversation. I have extensive professional experience in financial analysis, business development and strategic planning in luxury and consumer goods companies. Before starting his consultancy business, I have worked at senior managerial positions in different MNCs and leading corporations such as BRITA (Asia Pacific), Blackbird Group (Ferrari and Maserati dealerships in Hong Kong), Fonterra and Volkswagen Group Hong Kong Limited to take care of financial analysis, budgeting, demand planning and business development projects. Tommy also served in leading corporations including Sony, Hutchison Port, Amoy Food, Jones Lang LaSalle, ExxonMobil and Deloitte. My recent achievements in contributing to business owners or CEOs include - 1. Leading investment projects - Experiences in car dealerships (showroom & workshops) and F&B outlets investments, from sourcing new funds on investment to negotiating with landlords for lease agreements and renovation. 2. Raising finance from bank facilities - improved operating cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity in my client's businesses. 3. Infrastructure financing - preparing and facilitating project financing for mining assets located in Australia. 4. Strategic business planning and execution - Working with my client (hair care) to build a clear business plan growing their business. 5. US IPO preparation - Facilitate one of my clients to be listed in US Nasdaq. I hold a Master of Economics from University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor degree in Finance from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
