I like to live life with purpose and a true believer in the gift of learning. And, in doing so, I receive great satisfaction from my work environments and personal experiences. I have an extended background in customer service (particularly in the event/conference management area) - at all levels (providing, team lead, supervising CSRs (in this case, a scheduling team of four)) and have gained a wealth of knowledge by the many opportunities and individuals that I have encountered. I enjoy project management and have been a part of or lead of a team on various projects. I am the SME for EMS (Event Management Systems) for our department (well, institution, for that matter). I was responsible for taking a packaged software and customizing it to fit my department's needs. As the SME, I am responsible for updating the software and web application whenever needed and I was/am responsible for training departmental staff and clients on how to access and use this scheduling tool to meet their needs. I embrace any and all opportunities that will enhance my knowledge base and where I can be a potential benefit to others.
