Led the company’s product development programs, managing teams of 15-25 scientists, engineers and designers to deliver innovations for corporates and startups in the life sciences industry. Role involved planning, selling and delivering complex projects requiring a combination of engineering disciplines including hardware, software, radio communications and synthetic biology. Oversaw the successful development of the world's first rapid Flu test, which was successfully modified for Covid-19 detection; a novel point-of-care kidney disease test platform and a Wi-Fi/cellular communications link for a hospital critical care system.
