I am currently the Founder and CEO of Freyr Health. Freyr Health helps patients to aggregate their health records and data into one place so they can travel with them and share them globally in a secure way. Patients can also get rewarded with a universal income when they share their anonymised data with trusted 3rd parties I previously was the Chief Product & Science Officer at Medivault. By consolidating fragmented patient data, they provide real-time, actionable insights that empower individuals, and their care teams, to prevent illness before it starts. I am also a Scientific Advisor to Nasdaq listed Virax Biolabs. We develop and distribute health tests globally and have a specific focus on the immune system and tackling the current Coronavirus pandemic. We are currently developing a test that can assess an individual's immune response to specific viral threats alongside an app to display the results and suggest diet and lifestyle modifications that can aid immune system function. I was previously the Chief Scientific Officer at ConnectedLife, a Singapore headquartered digital health and medical technology company. They deliver patient and population health management solutions that leverage advanced, deep-technologies including connected consumer health smart wearables, IoT medical devices, cloud systems, data analytics and AI. Our solutions connect the care continuum, enabling interoperability across all organisations in the health and wellness ecosystem, facilitating collaboration between all parties involved with managing a user’s health and wellbeing, from physicians to allied health professionals, caregivers, and the patient. Prior to this I was the Chief Scientific Officer at Verita, developing personalized health assessment, advanced analytics and MedTech innovations, to provide health and wellness solutions to customers at all stages of adult life. I was also chief scientific officer at Soza Health, a health assessment and lifestyle management company that utilizes physiological testing to deliver an instant, tailored diet and lifestyle report to customers. I have also worked in academia focusing on muscle wasting research, stem cell therapies and ageing in humans. My educational background is in Biomedicine and Human Physiology, achieving a PhD from King's College London and a BSc from University College London. Specialties: Ageing research, Medtech.
