In the company I held position as mechanical engineer. I was designing, measuring and making drawings based on information from my team leader. Very important were to communicate with electrical department, because project was from bigger part electrical than mechanical.
I worked as a mechanical engineer creating workshop drawings in AutoCad and Inventor programs. The important part of work was detail checking of existing drawings and the strict adherance to the required standards. I was responsible for my workshop drawings and was the first point of contact in case any issues. I went on several business trips to the Czech Republic and one to the Netherlands, each time gaining invaluable experience. I attended courses provided by the company and took part in meetings. I also acted as deputy in the team leader's absence. - creating workshop drawings responsible for completeness and accuracy. - checking drawing sets. - 3D modeling and drawing in Inventor and AutoCAD. - As-built drawings - measured in workshop. - revision drawings. - knowledge of company standards - performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time. - business trips.
While holding a number of varying positions, I was responsible for 3D modeling of part assemblies and workshop drawings. I was part of a team which managed as-built measuring, 3D modeling and drawing documentation mainly for US Steel in Kosice.
