Over my summertime break from university I worked for a local maintenance company. During my time at the business, I learnt a variety of skills, often completing a different trade everyday such as carpentry and building to name a few. In completing this job I was often completing tasks I have never tried before, which shows I am an adaptable and conscientious learner who is capable of picking up new skills quickly.
After completing my college studies I decided to try and start a life by myself in Australia. Despite the struggles of moving from hostel to hostel, I managed to attain a few opportunities for employment in the sales sector. Despite having a great time and having success in my job, due to covid 19 I was forced to return to the Uk shortly after my arrival. Although my trip was short, I learnt an abundance of new skills. I discovered my desire to move abroad permanently, finding my trip very easy making several friends alongside fully embracing a new culture too.
I joined origin originally as a telesales consultant, selling all kinds of different products and services successfully. After a short time, the owner promoted me to team leader after demonstrated the required qualities to excel in the role and outgrew my current role with months of profitable figures. This was difficult as some members of my team were double my age, but I quickly gained their respect in several different ways, which led to my team being the most profitable at the firm. Despite loving my time here, I have always seeked opportunities to move abroad so i moved to Australia.
