Respond to weather catastrophes property claims throughout the United States. Review Xactimate estimates and provide recommendations for repairs to Independent Adjusters. Contact members and review storm damage and advise of immediate mitigation recommendations. Desk Adjust storm claims, review supplemental estimates, review and provide payments. Available to work extended catastrophe hours – 80+/week during catastrophe events Negotiate damage estimates with contractors. Prioritize, schedule and conduct on-site and/or virtual inspections and assessments of property Damages for both residential and commercial claims. Collaborate with policyholders, insurance agents, contractors and other involved parties. Evaluate coverage and policy terms to determine the validity of claims and ensure compliance with local regulations. Responsible for making decisions on investigations and determining coverage. Gather necessary evidence, document findings and prepare detailed reports to support the claim handling process. Assess damages, estimate repair cost and negotiate settlements. Proficient using claims management software and tools (ECS, Xactimate, XactContents.) Knowledge of changing local regulations and compliance requirements. Negotiate and settle claims within the authorized time limits, considering policy provisions, industry standards and company guidelines.
