• Building up Finance Subledger department in the Global Transaction Center in Berlin from start • Leading multicultural department of 68 FTE divided over 4 teams (1 Accounts Receivable team, 3 Accounts Payable and Travel Expenses teams) • Migrated, centralized and standardized Accounts Payable, Travel Expenses and Accounts Receivable operations for 25 countries and 50+ legal entities ensuring business continuity • In largest market Germany in AP increased payment-on-time-ratio from 55% to 75%, decreased paper invoices from 30+% to 5%, reduced average invoice runtime with 3 days • Further developed standard process model for AP/TE and AR including detailed work instructions • Implemented detailed KPI Reporting using Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud • Implemented standard AR collection procedures for all countries • Implemented Concur in all legal entities, invoice management system xFlow in Russia/China and S/4 HANA in UK, standard automatic payment runs in Eastern Europe in cooperation with IT
• Leading multicultural team of 6 international accountants • Migrated finance activities of KWS Services North to Barcelona (4 entities) • Managed all finance operations (G/L, Tax, Treasury, AP, AR) for 8 entities in 7 countries • Responsible for IFRS Group audits for 8 entities in 7 countries • Responsible for statutory audits & annual accounts for respective entities and different local GAAP’s • developed standard mapping files between SAP and annual accounts, increasing transparency in case of audits/inspections • Standardized accounting policies, improving interchangeability of accountants among companies and facilitating centralized year end audit • Standardized files to map financial data from SAP to reporting tool, speeding up the process • Managed 3 YEC audits on 3 different locations in July 2016 and 4 audits centralized from Barcelona in July 2017, all figures were reported to HQ in time without material audit findings • Improved closing processes for 7 entities, resulting in much faster quarterly and year end closings • Set up 4 eyes principle in AP for all legal entities • Responsible for tax compliance in 7 countries (CIT, VAT, WHT) • Set up KPI reports for Accounts Payables • Managed 3 local tax audits in the Netherlands and Switzerland, no irregularities found • Connected several bank accounts from 5 countries into UCe EBICS banking platform • SAP key user for Accounts Payable and SAP Autobank, member of Accounting Competence Team
