Administer Windows 2008 AD Network for 225 people in 2 locations. Responsible for proposing, planning, and implementation of IT projects to continually improve availability and user experience. This included installing a new server environment with VMware ESXi 5.1 and HP SAN technology. Later upgraded to ESXi 5.5, replacing wireless and WAN networks with MPLS and upgraded other core servers such as Exchange, SQL and Domain controllers.
Provide technical direction and support for 250 users and 22 servers in an Active Directory (AD) environment across three plants using MPLS routing. Cohesively worked with multiple third party vendors to implement SAP from Blueprint to Go Live from a BASIS stand point. Rewrote IT department policies, procedures and standards. Excellent customer service skills helped to re-establish solid communications between users and IT department.
