I am the EU Chair of A&O Shearman, and Managing Partner of Belgium. I have extensive experience in court litigation and arbitration, both nationally and internationally. My commercial litigation practice covers a wide range of complex commercial and contractual disputes. With more than 25 years of experience in international business transactions, I advise on diverse commercial contracts and projects across multiple sectors and jurisdictions. I have developed particular expertise in construction disputes and insurance litigation, and I co-head our insurance sector team as well as our ENRI (Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure) sector team. With a strong interest in energy markets, I regularly assist clients on energy projects and disputes. In addition to client work, I have lectured on energy contracts at KU Leuven.
