o Responsible for coaching and mentoring of the team allocated and carry out maintenance repairs, servicing and rebuild tasks as directed. o Report directly to Supervisor o Delegation of work and coordination of flow to a crew of tradesmen o Ensure the safety and welfare of all personal, machinery and all company property o Follow the maintenance schedule ensuring plant & equipment is maintained in accordance with OEM specifications. o Aid and coach in efficient diagnoses and repair of plant and equipment o Understand hydraulic and electrical schematics o Report all incidents immediately o Initiate & formulate JHA’s for specific work areas o Commit to a NO injury work place o Regular visual inspections of equipment, ensuring the condition and integrity of all plant &equipment o Conduct workshop inspections & maintain a high level of housekeeping in my work area o Answer all workshop related two-way calls using appropriate edict o Priorities machine breakdowns between mining and OHP Supervisors o Report on all scheduled and breakdowns on a Excel maintenance shift report o Erecting and commissioning machines and equipment on site o Focus on a value for money, quality and responsiveness to internal and external clients o Positively engage with the workforce, coach a team to deliver results o Always look for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation in my work area o Raise work orders and defects for machines, price quoting, parts availability scope of works o Supervise major excavator shutdowns, ensure scope is complete safely and within scheduled time frame o Follow up on outstanding parts orders, ensure correct parts ordered for machines
