Assistant Project Manager at Gardiner & Theobald.
Placement student working at Gardiner & Theobald, as part of the Project Management team assisting both Ferry and North Island in the Tottenham Hale regeneration.
During second year at university I became course representative for my degree. As part of being a course representative, my role was to solicit feedback from my peers on my course and university concerns, convey them to academic course leaders via the Course Committee and disseminate responses, this necessitates excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Tasked with producing a project that included sourcing a prospective site, building an appraisal from first principles, identifying possible tenants and developing a brand and marketing strategy. -Time arranged to work with real estate consultancies Savills, Knight Frank and CBRE; During these days I visited several large London developments including The Gherkin, 22 Bishopsgate and White City and gained an insight into how developments differ due to factors such as location and target tenants and the strategies property developers put in place to attract tenants, invest in creating value and generating profits. -Working with the internal and external leasing agents, assisting with viewings, and supporting prospective client technical due diligence. -Following identification or prospective acquisitions I supported the financial analyst in the creation of feasibility appraisals and site valuations. -Producing a branding proposal and marketing pitch content for the One Waterloo project a circa 1m sq.ft mixed-use redevelopment. -Working with the asset management team supporting tenant liaison and facilities management.
